God wants to have a relationship with you, to hear from you. Prayer is how believers talk to God. Just tell Him what's on your heart.
Read the Bible.
It's God's Word. He has provided truths for you to live by, and He lets you get to know Him as you read. The important thing is to read the Word of God!
