truth. The most amazing thing happened. God came to our world and communicated with us. Not only did He speak verbally, but He demonstrated the truth. Both forms of communication came together in the person of Jesus Christ.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the World became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory...full of grace and truth." John 1:14
Jesus--God in the flesh! That puts His words in a totally different category from other wise men and prophets in history. The words He spoke are absolute truth.
community. Jesus has given us the church as the best means of achieving real community. Though it's far from perfect, it provides a place where healing in personal relationships is demonstrated. This is only possible through His power flowing through genuine believers.
peace. When Jesus comes into the hearts of believers, a new sense of peace comes into their lives. While this doesn't mean that all of a person's problems will disappear, it does mean that he will carry a sense of His presence through those struggles.
