The Psalms
Join us as we begin to explore the joy of singing through the original hymnbook - the Book of Psalms.
The Book of Psalms is divided into five Books. Over the next two years, we plan to have five hymn-sings - one for each of the five Books. In order to do this, we will be using various sources ancient and modern. Some will have familiar tunes and some will be new, but the focus will always be on the lyrics - the Psalms,
We hope you will join us for these events. Our plan is to meet after the Sunday evening prayer time and sing together for about an hour. You are encouraged to socialize afterward!
The first Psalm-sing is Sunday, April 21 at 6:00 pm.
“ Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
